Windows Vista or 7 x86 32-bit (RTM and all Service Packs) versions support booting in BIOS mode from MBR disks only, not from GPT disks.Windows XP both x86 32-bit and x86_64 (also called 圆4) (RTM and all Service Packs) versions do not support booting in UEFI mode (IA32 or x86_64) from any disk ( MBR or GPT) OR in BIOS mode from GPT disk.A good example of this is Windows 11 which still works on a BIOS/MBR configuration once the Windows Installer check is bypassed.
